Realistic Self-Defense for Women

The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques.  The RAD System is a comprehensive course for women and begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.  R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program.

Our 9-hour course is taught by Chris Schumann, a certified R.A.D. Instructor and a Black Belt in Hapkido.

The class is provided to women who live and/or work in the City of Westlake.  The course is taught at  the Westlake Police Department and there is a maximum of 8 students per class.   If interested, you may call the Westlake Police Department to reserve a seat.  The RAD System of Physical Defense is currently being taught at many Colleges and Universities.  This system of realistic defense will provide a woman with the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance.
